Ambition Racing are taking part in the world's first single/double handed round the world sailing race in September 2008.
The race, which will set off from Portimao in Portugal, in terms of numbers, will be the largest ever round the world race and will drive considerable public interest both at home and in each of the five continents visited during the race - the route is Portimao (Portugal) - Cape Town (South Africa) - Wellington (New Zealand) - Ilhabela (Brazil) - Charlestown (United States) - Portimao. The duration of the race will be about 10 months.
Ambition Racing are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with The Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
They have linked up with the charity to work closely with them in raising their profile throughout the UK: within the corporate community and within local community groups such as schools and sailing clubs. Ambition Racing care passionately about working with this worthwhile charity to assist them in their aims and ultimately to raise funds for them.
