Ae Fond Farewell

Stirling & Stirling organised "Ae Fond Farewell" British Council Reception and Ceilidh at the Assembly Rooms, George Street, Edinburgh, for Jim Bartholomew (retiring) Joe Wake (retiring) and Sheila Lumsden (promoted to post outside of Scotland).

Sheila Lumsden OBE ACIS who was leaving her position as Deputy Director of British Council Scotland to take on the role of Director, Contracts & Projects UK Directorate, British Council said;

"A really big thank-you for the wonderful ceilidh for Joe, Jim and I. Just amazing. It really was a great evening - the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, lots of people did dance and there was lots of time to catch up with people also. It was so good to spend time with everyone that evening - very special. I know that so much work went into it by you and a number of others in the office - so a really big thank you to everyone. "

"Thanks for all your work in making the whole event such a success. I certainly enjoyed myself, as have all those with whom I've spoken."
