Washington DC - Sir Sean Connery Award

Stirling & Stirling presented a Special Award at the U.S. Senate, Washington DC. The recipients were Senator Trent Lott, then Republican Senate Majority Leader and Sir Sean Connery. Senator Lott received the Award in recognition of his sponsorship of Senate Resolution 155 that adopted April 6, in perpetuity, as National Tartan Day and Sir Sean Connery in recognition of his interest in and devotion to Scotland.

Our events include educational events, business forums, artistic and musical celebrations of Scotland in the nation's capital. Prestigious A list locations used by the committee include the private caucus rooms on Capitol Hill, embassies, former Presidential homes, The Arts Club, the Cosmos Club, the Smithsonian Institution, The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and Georgetown University. Attendees at our events represent the nation's political, business and academic elite including top federal and state legislators from the white house and capitol hill, embassy representatives from several countries, executives from Top Fortune 500 companies and Presidents or Board members from the area's universities. We work with Stirling and Stirling in Edinburgh to ensure our events are "A list" productions that showcase the best of contemporary Scotland."
